Pansies, Pansies, Pansies...........OK, there is a bunny explosion here in the studio, all shapes and sizes around me everywhere I look......LOL.......I really had fun painting this bunny surrounded by pansies. I have enjoyed redesigning this canvas with all the different flowers and color combinations. The character changes dramatically each time. So many colors to decide on, I see endless possibilities. This is what happens once I start with an idea.....
Bunny with Pansies........Bunny with Iris............Bunny with Stargazer lilies........will there be more bunnies? OK...........the Gold leaf bunnies are almost ready........
and I hope to have time to make some more bright wooden bunnies.
These wooden bunnies are two toned and different each side. I have them all lined up on my workdesk and the color is fabulous........As I have been making them I have been making one bunny in each color combination for myself.
These bunnies were made for me by the same woodworker who made the cricket stools and I only have limited numbers left. I painted some last year and will hopefully add a few more before Easter this year. I just love painting everything in bright colors.........although since I have been working with the gold leaf I am toying with the idea of golden wooden bunnies with wild polka dots and bright ribbon...........
Ideas are so easy for me..its the production that always clobbers me.....never enough time to make all I see in my head.........Its a Trunk Show weekend, the March shows are back home and time to prepare 3 shows to leave here on Monday...........I will let you know where they will be the first of next week.
I will be working all weekend surrounded by bunnies and ornaments.......
